Music is a powerful thing. It has the ability to change our mood, make us dance, make us laugh, or even take you back in time! Music affects all of us in a special way. Going on big adventures is always exciting, and adding music to those adventures will not only create more excitement, but will commemorate the experience. Every time you hear those songs it can take you back to an experience wherever you listen to it! That’s a powerful thing. Just think about it. You’re  at work, stressed, maybe overwhelmed, and you hear a song that played while you hiked down the Appalachian trail, or kayaking down a peaceful river with family and friends, and instantly it brings you back. You can smell the trees again, hear the water rushing, & feel the sun instantly. It’s scientifically proven to activate sensors in the brain that remind us of significant events that took place while hearing the songs over again!

According to music can make you feel more hopeful, powerful, and in control of your life.  It will make you more productive, and allow you to complete tasks more efficiently. So if you are on a hike, rock climbing, working out, running, etc, you are more likely to go farther if you are listening to music.
